Biocant reappointed as Chair of the Smart Ocean/APDPCTMP General Assembly

On Monday, Biocant – Associação de Transferência de Tecnologia took part in the inauguration ceremony of the new governing bodies of the APDPCTMP – Association for the Promotion and Development of the Marine Science and Technology Park of Peniche, the entity responsible for driving Smart Ocean Peniche.

Biocant has been closely involved in the development of this hub and, through its Executive Director, Carlos Fernandes, has been reappointed as 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗣𝗗𝗣𝗖𝗧𝗠𝗣 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆.

Smart Ocean is a strategic initiative for the blue economy, bringing together science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship to promote the sustainable use of marine resources. It also coordinates the Peniche hub of Hub Azul Portugal, the national innovation network designed to accelerate the digital, energy and sustainable transition of the maritime sector.
