May 12, 2026On Tuesday, June 2, GeneH project partners gathered in Ljubljana, Slovenia, including Biocant association, for the Annual Meeting. This moment was key to review project progress, identify current challenges and align on the next strategic steps, reinforcing collaboration across the consortium.
On June 3, the GeneH & CFGBC Scientific Symposium brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss the latest advances in the gene therapy ecosystem, with a focus on rare diseases, genomics and translational research. The event highlighted successful case studies and fostered dialogue on overcoming key barriers to accelerate clinical translation.
The GeneH project is a Horizon Europe–funded initiative that aims to establish a Quadruple Helix–based Hub of Excellence in gene therapy, integrating academia, industry, public authorities and society across Portugal and Slovenia. By fostering collaboration, capacity building and innovation, GeneH seeks to accelerate the translation of gene therapies into real clinical solutions.
As a partner and work package leader, Biocant is proud to contribute its expertise in technology transfer and innovation to support the objectives and impact of the GeneH project.
