MAIN GOIAL: Special Strategic Pilot Program aimed at implementing and consolidating a Regional Smart Innovation Ecosystem that, through networking, promotes the valorization and transfer of knowledge and R&D&I results to the regional economy, in line with RIS 3 Centro, with a view to transforming innovative ideas into business initiatives, and should therefore include a diverse range of activities.

9. TOTAL ELIGIBLE COST: 3.393.755,86 EUR, with Biocant – Technology Transfer Association responsible for 129.583,78 EUR

10. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION (FEDER): 2.884.692,48 EUR, of which 110.146,21 EUR is allocated to Biocant – Technology Transfer Association.

11. OBJECTIVES, ACTIVITIES, AND EXPECTED/ACHIEVED RESULTS

  1. Accelerate the shift toward more entrepreneurial and open attitudes, values, and behaviors, particularly in collaboration on innovation projects, the adoption of new ideas and technologies, risk-taking, and combating the stigma of failure;
  2. Empower academic communities to create innovative projects that facilitate knowledge transfer to the business community;
  3. Support the creation of technology-based companies grounded in advanced knowledge;
  4. Promote an increase in the technological intensity of the region’s business sector by strengthening its connection to the SCTN;
  5. Attract foreign direct investment aimed at creating or strengthening high-tech business units in the region;
  6. Raise awareness among companies about the innovation ecosystem that will enable them to expand their capabilities;
  7. Establish networking between the consortium and participants to consolidate the knowledge acquired;
  8. Expand, disseminate, and publicize the knowledge generated.
