Biocant – Technology Transfer Association attended Biomeet 2026, one of the leading gathering points for Portugals bioeconomy and biotechnology ecosystem.
Represented by Carlos Fernandes, Executive Director, Conceição Egas, Head of the Next Generation Sequencing Unit, and Mariana Melo, Project Manager, the association reinforced its commitment to fostering innovation, technology transfer, and collaboration between science and industry.
It was particularly rewarding to see the strong representation of the broader Biocant ecosystem at Biomeet, with several companies and organisations present throughout the event. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, including organisations such as CoLab AccelBio and AD-ELO, of which Biocant is a member.
We would like to thank everyone we had the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas with, and explore new collaboration opportunities. We also extend our congratulations to P-Bio – Portuguese Bioindustry Association, of which we are a proud member, for the excellent organisation of yet another edition of an event that continues to drive the biotechnology sector forward in Portugal.
